Newsletters
Information has been provided relating to study progress at regular intervals during the study period. In particular, as part of the Study programme a series of Newsletters was produced, that outlined work of the study at that time, and contained opportunities for public responses to particular aspects of the Study.

Workshops
As part of the 'Plan Stage' of the study, we held a series of workshops in November 2001. We asked anyone who would like be invited to one or more workshops to let us know. There were 8 workshops, spread throughout the study area:
- Newbury : 5th Nov
- Swindon : 6th Nov
- Salisbury : 7th Nov
- Bristol : 8th Nov
- Taunton : 12th Nov
- Exeter : 13th Nov
- Plymouth : 14th Nov
- Truro : 15th Nov
The intention was that each workshop dealt with issues of detail within its 'local' (albeit fairly large local) area. The specific arrangements for each event were be sent to anyone who expressed an interest to come along.
Exhibitions - June/July 2001
We held three exhibitions where you were able to see details of the emerging preferred strategy for SWARMMS as well as meet members of study team.
The dates/venues of the exhibitions were:
- 25th June 2001 - The Guildhall, Salisbury
- 2nd July 2001 - Holiday Inn, Caversham Bridge, Reading
- 3rd July 2001 - Thistle Hotel, Queen Street, Exeter
All exhibitions were open from 2:00pm to 8:00pm.
Exhibitions - September 2000
The SWARMMS team visited sixteen locations in the study area during September 2000 with a mobile exhibition. The exhibition was open to all, and there was an opportunity to talk to members of the study team at each venue.
